We are Paola and Gustavo, 2 designers who came together to create creative visual projects.
Papoulas Douradas started in 2014, as a Facebook page of Paola's drawings.
In 2020 it grew and became a small company, creating for big brands and publishers.
Its main focus is playful universes and vibrant colors, mixing everyday things with fantasy, in unusual ways!
Together, they have already published a collection of books through Companhia das Letrinhas - Contos Antigos Japoneses - and have a clothing brand - YUUF DAYS.

Paola Yuu
Paola is an illustrator with a degree in Design from the University of São Paulo. She has a thousand hobbies and personal projects, which she shares on her Instagram pages and YouTube channel. She published her first graphic novel, "Bem-vinda de volta" by Editora Seguinte - a young imprint of Companhia das Letras - in 2024.
Gustavo Hirga
Gustavo is a designer studying at the University of São Paulo.
